With profound sadness, we announce Jeter died peacefully alongside his mom of nearly 10 years, Thursday, July 25th 2024. Jeter was adopted by his mother, Carissa Scekeres, on December 23, 2014. He quickly became the king of the house. Jeter was brought home to a loving house resembling the cutest oversized rat. Jeter quickly decided that the king size bed was his sleeping quarters, and the crate was merely a house decoration. Jeter loved playing with other dogs, big or small. His social skills were exceptional at the dog park or with his girlfriend of four years who was his next-door neighbor. Jeter's love for social interaction left no boundaries to find a house for an uninvited romp through another's doggy doors. Jeter's favorite activities included barking at things that were not there, zoomies, playing "baby" and cuddles. He displayed his superb "sniffing" skills when on Paw patrol against the lawn perimeter. His favorite hobby was feverishly chasing the trespassing bunnies and squirrels on his territory. The quickest way to Jeter's heart was through watermelon, pig ears and belly scratches. Jeter will be greatly missed by many, but none more than his mom and auntie. The pain is great without him but it no way would compare to never having him. Besides his mother and auntie, Jeter leaves behind many doggie friends, his girlfriend V or anyone that would visit him at the house. At the wishes of Jeter's family, give your dog an extra hug, belly rub, and treat.
