Wiz McClure was adopted from the Indiana humane Society in the winter of 2014 and sadly passed 08/24/2024.

I was initially told that his name was Emily when I adopted him and it wasn't until the first vet appointment, I found out he was due for a name change because she was actually a he. Wiz was adopted with his brother Coz and they remained best buds until the end. Wiz had a personality like no other. He would only drink running water whether it was from the sink or the shower, but no matter what type of water fountain he was offered he showed no interest. His favorite snacks were croutons, ranch dressing, temptations, and fancy feast. He was very vocal, meowing at his parents to get out of bed at 5am every morning for breakfast, or meowing at his dad every time he was on the phone. He was very particular about is appearance and always had his tuxedo coat groomed perfectly. He strutted around the house with confidence and endured to be the alpha cat of the household. Wiz also enjoyed chasing anything with a shadow and always loved playtime with the laser pointer.

He had a special love for his dad and would follow him anywhere he would go throughout the house and even slept by his side. He would really suck up to his mom, but dad was always his best buddy.

Wiz will be greatly missed by his parents Pat and Cassie and their daughter Madelynn, his brothers Coz, and Scout. And his sister, Callie.
