Cooper Mcintyre made his way over the rainbow bridge to meet his best buddy, Cruzer July 5, 2023.

Cooper's life was lived to the fullest. He had so many issues and surgeries that his family lost count. There was one ailment that he couldn't survive, and rarely any dog ever does. Cancer.

Cooper won't go down as a "good dog" to many that knew him. He was a ferocious dachshund. He may have only stood a few inches from the ground, but you needed to watch your ankles if he didn't know you. Even if he did know you, he had a tendency to get irritated with visitors and chase them down. In his mind, he was a big dog with a very big attitude. He wasn't sorry either.

Cooper was a born hunter that took down anything from groundhogs, nests of bunnies, birds, snakes, and so many others. He, again, was never sorry.

Cooper was also "Weiner of the race first place" at one local dachshund race and placed in several other local races before retiring in 2014.

Cooper's vivacious, mischievous, ferocious, and quirky personality will forever be missed, and never replaced. Cooper was truly the king of his castle, car, or really anything laid claim to.

Cooper will be especially missed by Ashley, his human mom, who did a lot of growing up with Cooper.

Long live king Cooper (aka Coop, Coopie, Snoot, Snooter, cup, cuppie, etc.)
