Sammi was a stray as well and came to our family in October 2019. When we picked her up, she jumped straight into her daddy's arms and was his from that moment on - she chose him. She stood on his lap with her paws on the steering wheel and helped drive us home. We were never sure how old she was, her vet said at least 3. Sammi was a tuxedo with long, soft fur and the sweetest little meow I've ever heard. She bonded with Jinx as well as dad and they spent a lot of time just hanging out. He was the only one she would share her cardboard box with.. Sammi loved boxes. She had to try out every new box or bag that came into the house. If she wasn't hanging out in a box or playing with her mousie, you would find her with her hooman dad or sister. The day Jinx left us, Sammi stopped eating and drinking. She refused everything we tried to give her. As days went by, we began to feed her and give her water via syringe. At the end, she wouldn't even accept that. She left us to be with her Jinxy on Oct. 31, 2024. She had lost her will to live; no vet can fix a broken heart.
