July 1, 2013 was a very sad day for our family. We lost a very important member that can never be replaced. We received Vinnie as a golden lab puppy at the age of 3 months. He grew to be a gentle giant weighing 110lbs. He brought us laughter, joy and happiness as the days passed with him. He was known to everyone in the neighborhood with his daily walks and enjoyed his dress up time at Halloween. Vinnie was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his skull February 2012. He went through surgery and radiation therapy. Through all of this, his spirits remained the same. We were fortunate to have our special guy for 15 additional months after treatments. The out pour of kindness was unbelievable. We received cards and flowers from friends and family. We now carry Vinnie with us around our neck and in keychains. He will be with us always, the house may be empty but the memories are forever in our hearts.
